All children contact with nature as part of their heritage… The more our children see and know of the natural world around them, the better equipped they will be to face the basic realities of life and realize the noble potential of existence this planet has to offer. - Ansel Adams

After each successful climb, we plan to conduct outreach clinics at elementary, junior high and senior high schools, colleges and universities through out the United States and Canada.

The purpose of the outreach clinic is to expose children and students to the great American outdoors, to promote the benefits of education, to promote the importance of safety and a clean environment, the value of world geography, the rewards of staying in school, and the importance of "Always Following Your Dreams"

Conclusion

We don’t know that things can be done, that dreams can be fulfilled, that great accomplishments can be realized until somebody takes that first step and shows the way. - Jessie Carney Smith

African Americans have many sports pioneers and heroes such as Jackie Robinson, Jesse Owens, Debbie Thomas, Lee Elr, Hank Aaron, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, and Walter Payton.  However, Matthew Henson has been the only African American to have a major outdoor achievement.  He discovered the North Pole along with Robert Peary in 1909.  Just think about that.  How many others could there have been?  Moreover, how many will there yet be?
